Pre Easter Party

Today we got to celebrate Easter a little early :-) Even though the weather wasn't the warmest, the boys had a great time dying eggs, doing an egg hunt and listening to the Easter story.

My friend asked me to read the Easter story to the boys and to be honest, I don't think I've ever told Elijah what Easter is all about in detail. So I looked up some ideas online and found a great way to tell kids about Jesus and what he did for us. I made 'Resurrection Eggs' and each egg has a different part of the story in it. (This is the website I used cullensabcs.com/easter-story-resurrection-eggs-activity/) Thanks Grandma for the eggs :-)
Resurrection Eggs! As you open the eggs, you tell the story.

  1. I used to love dying eggs at Easter, it was my favorite part. Better then going to church every night (Catholic!). Happy Easter to all of you, what a great site! Alicia :)
