Welcome to our Blog!

Our New Home!

Greetings from Ann Arbor, MI!!

It is official, we have moved to the little town of Ann Arbor, home of the Wolverines :-) Kevin will be starting law school at the University of Michigan next week. We definitely miss our family and friends, but hope that you all keep in touch with us! We are almost done unpacking and are loving our new home. We've been exploring the area, and just today went to the Children's Museum. We are in walking distance to a couple of fun parks which Elijah has been enjoying. With the exception of the mosquitos, it is a really beautiful area and I'm excited to explore. The weather has been fun, it rains here quite frequently (not like CA!) and we've been getting some pretty amazing lightning and thunder storms.

We are in the process of trying to find a church which is always a bit of a challenge. We've been praying for the right fit and the right people and we know that God will be faithful in answering this prayer. Just today I got a call from the wife of another law student Kevin met this week, and she has a little boy who is also 2, and they are also looking for a church in the area. So encouraging!

Thanks for reading!

  2. We did! It's a little raquet and I love it, it's good for flies in your house too :-) The mosquitos are not too bad, but I am definitely getting bit. It's worse in wooded areas, but around our house it's not that bad...people say this year they are worse than normal, so hopefully it will get better. I know I'm so sad that we won't be there for halloween...it's the first time :-((( You guys should TOTALLY COME and visit!! I think fall here will be really pretty...

So are you gonna try the town and country?? I like that one...let me know which one you get. :-)

    Always thinking about you Millers!

  4. Hello from Phoenix, AZ. Just wondering if winter is creeping upon you. I'm working with a consultant from Minneapolis who says it's 34 degrees in the morning. Hope things are going well. We think of you often.
