Beach Day

We've been enjoying the nice sunny weather and have loved going to the beach.  Elijah loves the tide pools in Laguna, but we ended up going to Newport to dig and just play in the water.  We even saw dolphins right when we got there! Elijah was pretty excited to see them.  It was a fun day of finding buried treasure, wave chasing and crab finding :)

 A good friend of mine was throwing a 30th birthday with a Hawaii theme.  I got the boys all dressed in their best attire.  Elijah loved it, Jacob...not so much.  But they looked cute!

Fun times

It has been fun seeing family and friends these past few weeks.  We got to spend some quality time up in Loomis with Grammy and Grandma and some great friends.  A little update on the boys...Elijah is doing great with the potty training.  We had a few setbacks on the trip out, but he's doing well again!  Jacob is talking a lot now.  He's getting alot better at communicating what he wants.  He's been saying alot, but his favorites are mommy and daddy, ball, book, bath, baby ( I don't know why, but he loves his "b" words :-)), apple, wawa (water), ouchie, uh-oh, wal-wal(our cat), and he's learning grandpa and said Daniel (his cousin) the other day!
